Designed for the show floor

Light that makes the artwork work harder.

A lightbox is more than a bright wall. Fabric density, ink coverage, LED placement and frame depth all affect the finished image. We match the printed skin to the lighting system, keeping contrast and detail in mind. Silicone edging creates a neat, tensioned perimeter, while replaceable fabric skins let you update a campaign without replacing the whole display.

  • Silicone-edge graphics (SEG)
  • Backlit dye-sublimation fabric
  • Slim modular aluminium frames
  • Edge-lit & matrix LED options
  • Replacement fabric skins

The difference

A different way
to show up.

01 / The usual way

A flat, unlit back wall

Artwork competes with the hall lighting and may lose impact from across the aisle.

02 / With Clever Signs

An illuminated campaign surface

A compatible fabric skin and light source add depth and visibility, with replaceable graphics for the next campaign.

How it works

A practical plan
for your deadline.

01

Match the frame

Confirm frame profile, silicone edge and lighting arrangement.

02

Print for light

Review colour and contrast for the actual illuminated fabric application.

03

Tension & connect

Fit the graphic, route power safely and agree handover checks.

How it fits together

Every part has a job.

  • LED source

Light arrangement suits the frame depth.

  • Backlit fabric

Print density balances colour and illumination.

  • Silicone edge

The sewn perimeter seats into the frame channel.

The practical details

Made to spec.
Ready for the venue.

Already own a frame? Send the manufacturer, frame dimensions, depth and silicone-edge profile. The finished graphic allowance and backlit fabric must suit your system. We coordinate power, safe cable routes, brightness and artwork contrast before print.

Graphic material
Backlit dye-sublimation fabric chosen for the actual frame and illumination system.
Frame
Modular aluminium profiles; dimensions and depth confirmed before graphic production.
Edge finishing
Sewn silicone edge matched to the manufacturer’s channel and required tension allowance.
LED arrangement
Edge-lit or matrix options selected with frame depth, uniformity and service access in mind.
Electrical checks
Confirm power supply, connectors and safe cable routing. Request applicable PAT/test records; do not assume every supplied unit is certified.
Fire & packaging
Confirm the selected material’s fire-test documentation against the show manual. Request B1/M1 or other required evidence; classifications are not interchangeable and approval is organiser-specific. Protect frame corners and LEDs; keep fabric clean and dry.
Hall & dock delivery
Share show name, hall, stand number, unloading slot and on-site contact. Confirm vehicle booking, delivery labels, passes and any approved handling contractor before dispatch.
Power & placement
Book the correct electrical supply through the show’s approved contractor. Keep cables protected and access to isolators clear.
Frame compatibility
Send the manufacturer, outside dimensions, channel profile and frame photographs. Plan wall attachment or freestanding stability before fitting.

Fire documentation and any electrical checks must match the chosen materials, equipment and show requirements. No blanket certification is assumed.

01Can you print a new graphic for my existing lightbox?

Usually, after checking the frame manufacturer, finished dimensions, silicone profile and lighting arrangement. A generic width and height is not enough to guarantee fit.

02Will colours look the same switched on and off?

Backlighting changes the appearance of colour and contrast. We review artwork for illumination and agree any sampling requirements before full production.

03Do I need an electrician?

Electrical work and show power connections must follow organiser rules. We agree who supplies, connects and checks the lighting and power equipment.

04Is every fabric fire rated?

No universal claim is made. We confirm the selected fabric and its documentation against the organiser’s requirements before production.
