More than a roof over the door
Entrance canopy signs that make arriving an experience.
The entrance is where your brand meets people in person. A well-designed canopy frames the door, protects visitors from the weather and carries your name exactly where everyone looks.
We design the lettering, lighting and finish together with the canopy structure — so the sign belongs to the architecture rather than being bolted on afterwards.
Projection, head clearance, letter size and lighting are planned from the real approach route — pavement, car park or drop-off.

Six ways to welcome
Choose your entrance canopy style.

Offices, residential blocks & HQs
Architectural canopy
A cantilevered or tie-rod canopy becomes the address of the building. Raised stainless, brushed or powder-coated letters on the fascia edge give a permanent, corporate presence that reads from the street.
- Where it works
- Corporate HQs, office lobbies, residential blocks
- Good for
- Clean, permanent presence; weather protection; a clear address
- Our suggestion
- Brushed stainless letters on a powder-coated fascia, with a glass soffit for daylight
Construction & finishing details
- Folded aluminium or stainless fascia with fabricated letters
- Glass, solid or slatted soffit options
- Tie-rod, cantilever or post-supported structures
- Structural design confirmed by an engineer
The difference is in the detail
Designed, engineered & finished as one.
01 / Form
Structure & finish
Powder-coated aluminium, stainless steel, glass or timber-effect soffits, matched to your façade and brand colours.
02 / Light
Lettering & light
Fabricated letters, halo glow, LED edge lines and soffit downlights designed to read by day and glow by night.
03 / Care
Water & maintenance
Falls, gutters and sealed fixings keep rain away from doors and letters; access for cleaning and servicing is planned in.
Where, when & why
Where to use entrance canopies.
Canopies work best where people arrive on foot, wait at the door or need to find the right entrance on a busy façade. They need a sound wall or supporting posts, enough head clearance and a plan for rainwater.
Scroll sideways for all six settings. Less suitable: weak or unknown walls without engineering, very narrow pavements, or listed buildings where consent is unlikely — we'll suggest an alternative such as projecting signs or fascia letters.

Entrance canopy FAQs.
01Do I need planning permission for an entrance canopy?
Often, yes. Canopies that project over a public footpath, change a listed or conservation-area building, or carry illuminated signage usually need planning and/or advertisement consent. We help prepare drawings and visuals for your application.
02Who is responsible for the structure?
Canopies are structural elements. Fixing design, wind and snow loading and wall capacity are confirmed by a structural engineer. We coordinate this with your team rather than treating the canopy as a simple sign.
03Can you add signage to my existing canopy?
Usually — after a survey of its condition, fixing points and weather sealing. Lettering is designed so water cannot track into the structure.
04How is the canopy lit and powered?
We supply and fit the low-voltage lighting and drivers. The mains supply, isolation and certification are carried out by your qualified electrician.
05What about rainwater?
Canopies are designed with falls, gutters or concealed downpipes so water drains away from the door and the lettering.
06How long does a canopy project take?
It depends on consent, structure and finish. Signage on an existing canopy can be quick; a new structural canopy follows survey, drawings, approval and fabrication. We give a programme with your quote.
